Refund Policy

Effective August 23, 2026 · Elglide, Corp.

The short version

  • Credit purchases are final and not refundable.
  • But credit never expires — it stays on your account and stays spendable, indefinitely.
  • You can try Elglide properly before paying anything: 1,000,000 rows every month are free, and initial full loads are never metered.
  • We do refund duplicate charges, our own billing errors, and unauthorized charges.
  • Email us before disputing a charge. It is faster, and we would rather fix it than fight it.

1. How credit works

Elglide is prepaid. You add credit to your account, and syncs draw against that balance at the rates on our pricing page — $30 per 1,000,000 rows synced, after the first 1,000,000 rows each month, which are free.

Credit is denominated in US dollars, belongs to the account that bought it, and has no cash value outside the service.

2. Credit purchases are final

Credit purchases are not refundable, whether the balance has been used or not.

In exchange, credit never expires. There is no clock on it, no monthly forfeiture, and no minimum you must burn to keep it. A balance you bought today is still spendable in two years.

We are direct about this because it is the fair trade: you are not at risk of losing money to an expiry date you forgot about, and we are not exposed to buy-now-refund-later on a service whose costs we incur the moment you sync.

This applies whether you added credit manually or through auto-reload. Auto-reload is off unless you turn it on, you choose the threshold and amount, and you can turn it off at any time from your account.

3. You can try before you pay

Nobody should have to pay to find out whether Elglide works for them, and with Elglide nobody does:

  • Registering is free, and there is no card required to start.
  • The first 1,000,000 rows every calendar month are free, permanently, on every account.
  • Initial full loads are never metered. Loading a table for the first time costs nothing no matter how large it is — only the incremental changes afterward count.

That is enough to connect real sources, run real syncs, and see real data land in your warehouse before you spend anything. We would much rather you tested thoroughly on the free tier than bought credit and asked for it back.

4. When we do refund

The policy above is about buyer's remorse, not about mistakes. We will refund you promptly in these situations:

  • Duplicate charge. You were charged twice for the same purchase.
  • Our billing error. You were charged the wrong amount, or charged for something you did not buy.
  • Unauthorized charge. Someone used your card without permission.
  • We close your account without cause. If we terminate your account for a reason other than your breach of our Terms of Service, we refund your unused balance.
  • Where the law requires it. Some jurisdictions grant refund rights that a policy cannot override. Those rights apply regardless of anything on this page.

If a sync failed or produced wrong results because of a defect on our side, contact us. We will investigate, and where the fault is ours we will credit back the usage it consumed.

5. How to ask

Email [email protected] with:

  • the email address on your Elglide account;
  • the date and amount of the charge; and
  • what went wrong.

We aim to respond within two business days. Where a refund is due we issue it to the original card. Your bank then typically takes a further five to ten business days to post it — that part is outside our control.

6. Please talk to us before disputing a charge

If you do not recognize a charge, or think something is wrong, email [email protected] first. We will look into it straight away.

A chargeback filed with your bank takes weeks to resolve and locks both of us into a formal process. An email usually resolves the same problem the same day.

Charges from us appear on your statement as ELGLIDE, CORP. If you see that and do not recognize it, it is most likely a credit purchase made by someone on your team with access to your Elglide account.

Where a dispute is filed against a charge that was legitimate, we will respond with the account records, the purchase, and the usage it funded. If a card is being used fraudulently, tell us — we would rather stop it than defend it.

7. Purchase limits and payment methods

  • Card payments only. We accept major credit and debit cards, processed by Stripe. We do not currently accept bank debit for credit purchases.
  • Minimum purchase: $50. Card processing costs a fixed amount per transaction, and below this a top-up spends an unreasonable share of itself on fees.
  • Maximum purchase: $5,000 per transaction. Need more at once? Email us and we will arrange an invoice.

Invoiced amounts are payable net 30 days and are governed by our Terms of Service rather than this page.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If a change is material we will give at least 30 days notice by email or in the product. Credit you have already purchased is governed by the policy in effect when you bought it — a change cannot be applied backward to a balance you already hold.
